Nori bento with spicy cod roe


I ordered Nori bento with spicy cod roe as well as Makunouchi bento. Fried fish, fried chikuwa and seaweed on the rice. When you eat, you should not forget to put tartar sauce on it. Without it, you wold feel missing something.

There is spicy cod row under seaweed. You would feel salty, but most Japanese love it. Someone put it almost all dishes like ramen, pasta,salad,udon,so on.

It get rid of greasy taste of fried fish and tartar sauce in your mouth.

Spicy cod row came from Korea to Fukuoka which is south in Japan 17 century. Japanese had made it better to satisfy their taste. After second world war, it spreader widely in Japan.
