Shrimp tempura is very popular with Japanese. You can also eat seasonal vegetables tempura to feel seasonal change.
We eat it by dipping it into the tempura sauce. The sauce make the tempura better. The photo’s white stuff in sauce is grated daikon radish. It has a pungent ingredient just like wasabi.
Tempura of pumpkin, eggplant, white fish are served as well as shrimp. And what made me happy was spicy cod roe to eat with rice was all-you-can-eat.
